Moorestown Friends School offers a variety of summer learning opportunities for students in Prekindergarten through Grade 11 who live in Moorestown and the surrounding communities. Registration will open on January 15, 2014.

Summer Scholars
MFS Summer Scholars learn and collaborate with peers and master teachers to produce exciting, hands-on, student-centered projects. They have the opportunity to further personal interests by participating in activities related to academics, arts, sports, music, science, and fun!

Mini Scholars – 4- and 5-year-olds
Dates: July 7-11, July 14-18, and July 21-25
New this year – Daily science exploration and Chinese language instruction

Junior Scholars – Grades 1-6
Dates: July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25. July 28-August 1, August 4-7
New this year – Enhanced offerings in science and the arts, as well as the option of taking an additional mini-course in the afternoon.

Senior Scholars – Grades 7-9
Dates: July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25. July 28-August 1, August 4-7
New this year – Both three-week and two-week sessions.

Academic Transitions Mini Courses
Dates: August 18-21 and August 25-28

Help your child prevent summer learning loss in a relaxed, yet focused, environment while refreshing and reviewing necessary skills to help him or her make a smooth transition to the new school year. Courses in writing, study skills, mathematics, and computer skills will be offered for grades 5-10.
