Economics and EntrepreneurismLearn about fundamental economic concepts such as profit seeking, economizing, acquisition of desired goods, and competition between sellers through collaborative projects and real world applications. You will also practice entrepreneurial marketing techniques and enjoy activities such as using video to create commercials that address the “Five P’s of Marketing” and “Shark Tank” style competition. The course will culminate with a collaborative project that uses the concepts addressed in this course – the development of an entrepreneurial plan for an age appropriate business. Presentations will incorporate advanced technology and will be judged by a jury of experts.
