Our Facilities

Moorestown Friends School Summer Programs are held at the school’s beautiful 48-acre campus in Moorestown, NJ. Our outstanding facilities are available during the summer with access to more than 50 classrooms, all comfortably air-conditioned. The Innovation Lab, supplied with a 3D printer, robotics materials, electronic equipment, and woodworking supplies, provides scholars with the utilities to bring great ideas to life.

Four gymnasiums provide the Summer Scholars program versatility under changing weather conditions, but even more importantly, the ability to run a variety of athletic programs.

The White Building and playground allow Tot and Mini Scholars access to the Early Childhood Program facilities so that exceptional programming can continue during the summer months.


Classroom teachers wait with children at the end of each class to ensure that children are picked up safely. Floating interns are available throughout the day across the campus to assist children moving from class to class, class to lunch, as well as class to the swimming pool. Safety is our number one concern. If you see something of concern that does not exemplify this behavior, please bring it to the Camp Director’s attention.

Behavior and Discipline

Consistent with Moorestown Friends School’s policy of creating an environment of respect for the worth of right of each individual, MFS Summer Programs prohibits physical and mental harassment, bullying, and intimidation. Moorestown Friends School reserves the right to dismiss any scholar whose presence, in its judgment, is detrimental to the safety or well-being of other children, staff members, or the program’s best interest. In such an event, no refund or credit will be granted.

What to Bring/What NOT to Bring

Full-day campers should bring a lunch and water bottle to camp each day. Anything and everything should be marked with the child’s name on it. Tots and Minis should bring a change of clothing as well as the above articles. Those campers signed up for swimming will additionally need a bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen. Flip flops and other unsecured shoes are only allowed during transit to and from the pool. Sneakers or closed-heeled trail sandals are preferred for camp programs in the classrooms. Sneakers are required for all athletic programs. Non-marking soles are required for courts, indoors and out.

Campers should not bring any personal items or electronic devices to campus, except for cell phones. All cell phones are to be left in backpacks and turned off during classes. MFS Summer Scholars strongly supports this position and will take temporary possession of any device if it is seen and used during programs. MFS will not be responsible for any personal devices brought to campus that become lost or broken.


We recognize that parents love knowing and seeing the great things happening in the classroom each day. Our marketing department will provide weekly communications about the amazing achievements happening every day in all divisions.

Some Master Teachers will communicate directly with families (by email) if important information needs to be shared. If you are receiving too many emails or do NOT receive enough communication, please be in touch with the Summer Director, Martha Cameron. Our summer staff feels that more information is better than none at all. Please excuse our need to keep you well-informed; it is for the safety of your child and to prevent misinformation and confusion

Throughout the summer, MFS enjoys documenting the fun and activity by taking numerous photos and producing a video from time to time. Your online registration process will give you the opportunity to “opt out” of having your child photographed if this is a sensitive matter. We respect your need for privacy. Rest assured that children’s names are never included with photos posted anywhere on our site or in our publications, unless requested.

Refund Policy

Customer service in all aspects of the management of MFS Summer Programs is our top priority. MFS summer administrators will be happy to review any point of contention with regard to Summer Programs until a point of client satisfaction.

The Moorestown Friends School (MFS) online registration process will require a non-refundable deposit at the time a registration is made for programs. This secures your commitment to the class and allows MFS to better prepare for staffing and material needs. No deposit nor payments will be refunded–except for extenuating circumstances–beyond the stated commitment deadline (5/24/20). These details must be brought to the Director’s attention by phone or in person for further consideration.

Mark your calendars! Sunday, May 24, 2020

  • Deadline for final full payments and program commitment: Sunday, May 24, 2020
  • Cancellations made prior to May 24 will be refunded fully minus the non-refundable deposit
  • All registrations made after May 24, 202- will require full payment.
  • Cancellations after May 24, 2020 will not be refunded. Deposits will not be returned.
  • Class changes after May 24, 2020 will incur a $25 change fee/session.
  • Deposits can be transferred from one week to another if changing sessions

Online payments processed for summer program reservations can be made via paper check, e-check, or credit card. Refund credits prior to May 24, 2020 will be applied to the credit card from which it was originally paid. E-checks will need to be refunded manually through the business office and may take 7 – 10 days.

Note: All overdue balances unpaid by August 7, 2020 will be automatically debited from your credit card on file.
